Description The Management Analyst III provides senior analytical support to improve organizational effectiveness, decision quality, and program execution across NSWC Crane-aligned efforts. This role assesses complex operational and management problems, evaluates performance and resource data, and develops actionable recommendations for government leadership. The analyst synthesizes technical, financial, and organizational inputs to produce practical courses of action and implementation guidance that improve mission outcomes. This position is contingent upon award. Award is expected around the end of the year (2026). Requirements - Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a business or technical field (per eCRAFT Analyst, Management III labor category). - 10+ years of professional experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, or financial/cost analysis. - Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations. - Ability to collect, review, and analyze organizational information to define problem scope, evaluate alternatives, and produce evidence-based recommendations. - Demonstrated skill developing reports, findings, and implementation recommendations for government review and action. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with managers, technical staff, and decision-makers. - Active DoD Secret clearance (or clearable to that level) required due to support for classified programs and facilities. - Demonstrated experience supporting U.S. Navy organizations with management analysis, operations research, engineering/science management, or financial/cost analysis. - Proven ability to evaluate cross-functional workflows, identify systemic issues, and recommend implementable process improvements. - Strong capability in quantitative analysis, modeling, and visualization to support executive-level decisions. - Experience producing high-quality written products and delivering clear oral briefings to senior government stakeholders. - Familiarity with DoD program structures, stakeholder environments, and the constraints of mission-driven organizations.
