KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years’ experience in an operations, PA/EA or project management role for a busy professional services organisation or consultancy. Or someone who has been client facing in a Management Consulting organisation and is looking to move into operations
  • The successful candidate will:

      Responsibilities

      THE ROLE

      As Resource Associate, you will be responsible for building teams that will support the short- and long-term success of Teneo’s fast paced, growing Management Consulting business – across the UK, US and UAE. You will be working as part of an operations team that is dedicated to, and embedded within, the client facing Management Consulting team – interacting daily with senior stakeholders and reporting directly into the Head of Resource Management.
      Teneo’s Management Consulting division advises executive-level clients on strategic topics across a range of issues central to the success of their business. Our clients include a significant number of major global corporations across a diverse array of sectors and leading government and public sector entities.
      The role involves collaborating with practice leads, managing directors and others from across the business, to ensure that projects are staffed with the right people, with the right skills at the right time – making decisions that balance the needs of our clients, our people and the wider Management Consulting (and Teneo) business.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Weekly resource allocation


        • You will work with the Head of Resource Management to build teams with the blend of knowledge, skills and experience that are set up to provide our clients with comprehensive strategic counsel and first-class delivery – across our three locations in the UK, US and UAE

        • This will involve ensuring that we are making the most effective use of our entire resource pool and working to an established weekly process across the three geographies
        • This includes allocating resource to business development efforts and internal initiatives – ensuring we continue to drive growth for the business
        • You will aim to ensure that all staffing decisions protect individuals’ welfare and balance workloads, working closely with the people team where necessary
        • Resource planning, tracking and forecasting


          • You will work with the Head of Resource Management to track capacity within the business – recommending action or new approaches as necessary

          • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate resource records and working with the wider operations team to track utilisation, skillset and client/skill preferences across the team
          • Working with the Head of Resource Management and our people team, you will have a role in approving and tracking annual leave and other absence across the 3 geographies
          • Using tools, data and team feedback to drive efficiency and growth


            • Working within the wider operations team, you will track, review and use data to improve the resource process/approach and feed into the wider strategy of the Management Consulting business

            • This includes working within the Management Consulting framework to consistently review profitability of teams
            • You will also work with the operations and people teams to feed into performance reviews and wellbeing and recruitment initiatives – to ensure we are building and developing a happy, motivated and high performing Management Consulting team
