WHAT’S THE ROLE

The Management System Advisor champions the adoption of Safety, Environment & Asset Management (SEAM) standards which are intended to empower assets to effectively address risk and enhance performance through the application of standards and requirements.
In particular, the Local Management System (LMS) is used by the Prelude asset to organize its capabilities and management systems to enhance performance in an integrated and consistent fashion across several processes.
The role is office based and is aimed at supporting a wide range of stakeholders, both onshore and offshore, to drive simplification, learning and improvement via the adoption of SEAM standards. A strong desire to improve the status quo, collaborate with others and simplify/automate processes are key enablers to thrive in this role.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead end-to-end process health checks and process effectiveness reviews to ensure the LMS is compliant and efficient. Provide recommendations based on findings, drive any actions through to closure and continuously improve.
  • Strive to streamline, simplify or automate tasks, especially those that involve repetitive reporting or manual interventions. Aim to digitalize solutions wherever possible.
  • Single point of contact for training, coaching and guidance to end users, providing expert advice on the use of management systems and work processes.
  • Ensure evergreen implementation of new standards and management systems as needed.
  • Own the Local Management System Procedure.
  • Work with the Information & Digital Technology team to resolve issues relating to creating, editing and publishing of LMS documents:
  • Providing guidance on document control processes and record management practices
  • Monitor the documents status, report and support process owners to ensure LMS documentations are up-to-date and approved
  • Communicate promptly any procedural or documentation issues that could result in an abnormal operating condition or potential equipment failure
  • Support the Management System and Assurance Lead (line manager) in activities related to assurance and business improvement.

Leadership:

  • The role primarily delivers results through others, building on excellent networking, influencing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to our values and code of conduct.
  • Promote and drive the Shell Leadership Framework principles as well as Shell behaviors.
  • Demonstrate commitment to DE&I.
