EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of delivering adult teaching/training is essential
  • Experience of delivering Leadership and Management Apprenticeships is essential
  • Experience of working with clients (internal or external) essential
  • Experience in a management/managing others/business role other than training essential
  • Preferable experience of being involved in, designing and developing Apprenticeships and commercial training courses

  • Management and facilitation of the participants virtually and face to face
  • Ability to hold learners attention with interactive activities, sharing best practice and experiences
  • Knowledge of leadership and management models and ability to research and learn new topics
  • Quick learner, able to learn new workshops and deliver training on them
  • Ability to speak confidently with all stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

  • GCSE Level C (or equivalent) in English and Maths Essential
  • Accreditation in training/teaching essential
  • Accreditations in psychometrics preferable
  • Qualifications in CMI/ILM preferable
  • Safeguarding qualification preferable
    Working Pattern Monday to Friday 8.30 - 4.30 with 30 mins paid lunch break.
    Salary £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience.
    Annual Leave 32 days (including statutory holidays) plus Loyalty days.
    Remote/Home based with visits to the office, employers and some travel and overnight stays expected

Responsibilities

The main responsibility of this role is to deliver high quality training to learners ensuring the outcomes of Leadership and Management Apprenticeships and bespoke commercial programmes are achieved. Below are some of the required outcomes:

  • To deliver Level 3 and Level 5 Leadership and Management apprenticeships and core open programme training workshops
  • To deliver bespoke programmes to clients
  • To deliver face to face at employer’ premises/venues and virtually
  • To consistently receive high quality feedback KPI (currently 4.5 out of 5)
  • To take feedback on board to improve performance
  • To discuss client needs and provide outlines to the client services team
  • To develop lightly tailored course content and work with operations team to ensure full branding standards and deadlines are met
  • To ensure safeguarding, prevent, EQI and British Values are promoted through the apprenticeship workshops and responsibilities adhered to
  • To ensure functional skills are discussed in training courses where relevant
  • To support personal enrichment and career development with learners
  • To support SEND learners with any additional support identified
  • To liaise with operations team to schedule courses and programmes
  • To liaise with Skills Coaches where appropriate to ensure support to the apprenticeship learner is fully rounded
  • To deliver to utilisation targets (currently circa 13 full day/ 26 half day training workshops each month
  • To keep up to date CPD
  • Any other reasonable duties
