Description DUTIES: We seek a Manager based out of our office at 4554 Glenmeade Lane, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Note, this position does not require travel. Conduct market analysis for key market drivers and trends in the U.S. automotive industry, which includes analyzing the legislation in target segments, determining how they are evolving, and their expected impact on future product portfolio. Support automotive and industrial clients with baselining current operations by looking into company background financials, product portfolio, skills and capabilities, engineering and purchasing cost reductions, and product development, manufacturing, and quality processes. Analyze and assess current problems and complex issues faced by the organization's clients as it relates to processes, products, and their competitiveness, as well as, skills and capabilities. Conduct interdisciplinary collaboration with technical specialists, which includes interviewing technical experts to analyze technology roadmaps for 2030 (and beyond) based on legislative changes and customer requirements evolution. Develop and execute innovative business strategies. Analyze complex problems by developing hypotheses, conducting data collection, model creation, primary and secondary research, and navigating information limitations to achieve desired results. Own and lead individual project modules, synthesizing insights in executive-level presentations to internal FEV and external client audiences, including managers and executives. Coordinate interdisciplinary teamwork with consultants and technical specialists from the organization's locations in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Coach and mentor junior-level colleagues to facilitate their professional skills growth. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, or Business Administration and 60 months of experience in job offered or closely related position in the management consulting, energy, or mobility industry Required experience must include: Experience with automotive systems, including internal combustion engines, powertrain, drivetrain, and vehicle-related systems to analyze latest automotive technology trends / legislations and their impact on emissions, fuel economy, automotive functional safety, and vehicle performance; Experience with automotive technologies, engineering processes, and product development processes in order to lead technical discussions with clients and stakeholders; Experience performing data processing, data analysis, data-based model development, and data visualization for developing and presenting strategic analyses for clients and stakeholders via presentations and written reports; Experience with financial statements and corporate strategy to perform analyses at product / business, market, macro and micro economic levels WORK LOCATION: Auburn Hills, Michigan.
