POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the administration management and monitoring of local state and federal grant initiatives new and existing. Works under limited supervision and is responsible for researching writing and coordinating the grant application process, managing proposals and maintaining a donor database. This position will identify funding opportunities and develop proposals to secure financial support for Juvenile Court programs and initiatives.
Pay Grade: 55
Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education

2. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required.
3.Must pass drug test and TB.
4. Must participate in annual in-service and other training programs as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Serves as program administrator ensuring program requirements and standards are met. Makes key decisions involving actual tactics and/or direction of agency-based staff.
2.Develops and prepares applications for grant funding. Serves as the central point of contact for new providers of services and evaluates agencies through an interview process and prepares documentation for review.
3.Develops and prepares budgets for grant-funded programs. Ensures all program and fiscal standards and requirements are communicated to staff, administered and followed completely.
4.Drafts, monitors, manages and reviews all Juvenile Court contracts.
5.Assists in establishing, deleting and revising operations pertinent to grant-funded and in-kind programs.
6.Develops, supervises and provides in-service training relevant to grant funded, in-kind programs and in-kind program materials.
7.Maintain detailed and accurate records of all grant transactions; including expenditures and revenues.
8.Monitor budget variances and provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
9.Work closely with program managers to provide financial guidance and support for grant- funded projects.
10.Maintain organized and up-to-date grant files, including contracts, amendments, financial reports and correspondence.
11. Performs other related duties as required or directed.
