Roles & Responsibilities

The Fleet Manager oversees the company's fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are available, well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and used efficiently to support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet.
• Ensure timely preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs of vehicles.
• Monitor fleet utilization, fuel consumption, and operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage vehicle registration, insurance, licensing, and related documentation.
• Supervise and coordinate drivers, including scheduling and performance monitoring.
• Investigate accidents and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Coordinate vehicle procurement, replacement, and disposal.
• Track fleet performance using GPS and fleet management systems.
• Prepare reports on fleet performance, maintenance, and operational costs.
• Negotiate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, fuel, and fleet-related services.
• Implement initiatives to improve fleet efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
