Are you ready to lead and inspire a dynamic team in the heart of UPMC’s Corporate Finance? As the Manager of Accounting Analytics, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing general corporate accounting activities and financial analyses. You’ll supervise a talented team, ensuring the provision of top-notch accounting services and insightful financial analyses.
This position will be based out of Harrisburg, PA. This position will have the potential to work from home with a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week at home and 3 days per week in office.
Purpose: Your mission is to oversee and enhance UPMC’s corporate accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial insights.

Responsibilities
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor participants in various programs, fostering the next generation of financial leaders.
  • Financial Analysis: Direct and prepare comprehensive financial analyses for various stakeholders, including management, auditors, and external entities.
  • Internal Controls: Maintain and improve internal controls, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and safeguarding the integrity of accounting records.
  • Team Management: Train, supervise, and evaluate personnel, setting performance standards and conducting timely annual reviews.
  • Special Projects: Lead and coordinate special projects as requested by the leadership team.
  • Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all accounting transactions adhere to GAAP, UPMC policies, and external requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business field.
  • Minimum of six years of relevant experience, including extensive work with financial statements, general ledger accounting, and financial analysis.
  • A Master’s degree or CPA license with five years of experience is also considered.
  • At least one year of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated completion of required departmental competencies.
