Description Purpose Oversee and optimize day-to-day accounting operations for a rapidly growing, private-equity-backed home services company specializing in pest control and pool services, generating ~$160M in annual revenue. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, disciplined close processes, and scalable accounting infrastructure to support acquisition-driven growth, multi-entity operations, and field-level profitability insights. Key Contributions 1. Financial Close & Reporting • Own and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities • Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and accurate general ledger activity • Oversee consolidations across branches, service lines (pest + pool), and acquired entities • Deliver executive reporting packages including: o Variance analysis o Operational insights o EBITDA performance by branch/service line • Maintain governance of chart of accounts and master data 2. Operational Accounting (Home Services Focus) • Oversee: o Accounts Payable (AP) o Payroll accounting o Fixed assets • Ensure accurate accounting for: o Recurring service revenue (pest contracts & pool service plans) o Prepaid service agreements o Fleet vehicles and route-based operations o Field equipment and chemical/treatment inventory • Maintain financial accuracy across multi-branch, route-based service operations 3. Private Equity & Acquisition Support • Support acquisition lifecycle: o Financial due diligence o Purchase accounting & PPA o Post-close integration • Lead accounting integration efforts: o Chart of accounts alignment o ERP/system migrations o Internal control standardization • Ensure acquired businesses are integrated into: o Consolidated reporting o KPI tracking o Compliance frameworks 4. KPI & Operational Performance Reporting • Partner with operations to deliver insights on: o Branch-level profitability o Technician productivity and route efficiency o Revenue per route / service line • Track and report: o Adjusted EBITDA by branch/region o Cost-to-serve metrics o Support leadership decision-making with actionable financial data 5. Internal Controls & Compliance • Strengthen and maintain internal controls across all entities • Ensure compliance with: o GAAP o Lender covenants o Tax (sales, payroll, multi-state) • Manage relationships with: o External auditors o Lenders o Tax advisors 6.
