Job Overview / Purpose
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial management activities related to General & Administrative (G&A) expenses, corporate allocations, and chargebacks. This includes financial reporting, analysis, and accounting to support accurate and timely decision-making. Leading a team of two professionals, the role ensures the integrity of financial data, drives process improvements, and supports corporate departments in understanding and managing their G&A budgets effectively.Key Accountabilities

EDUCATION:

  • University degree (Business/Finance related)
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial management positions.
  • Experience in a related industry (preferred).

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • In-depth knowledge of complex accounting and IFRS or Canadian GAAP
  • Proven leadership and general management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • English/French bilingualism preferred
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and solutions-oriented
