EDUCATION

  • 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related fields (Required)
  • Qualified accountant with a recognized accounting qualification (ACCA or similar)
  • Combination of relevant work or education may be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the general ledger and accounts payable functions for assigned entities
  • Oversee all accounting transactions and processes, including general ledger transactions, journal entries, reconciliations and month/year-end close for assigned entities
  • Ensure that all statutory audit deadlines are met and all statutory regulations are adopted
  • Work closely with the FP&A team to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and forecasts
  • Assist the tax team with local compliance matters as needed
  • Work closely with the global accounts payable and general ledger teams to maintain consistent processes and controls
  • Manage assigned statutory audits and work with other stakeholders as needed to provide supporting documentation
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to the accounting team
  • Perform continuous analysis of internal controls and process efficiency within the accounting function to ensure compliance
  • Assist Director of Accounting with special projects and other duties as assigned
