Job Title Manager – Accounts Function Accounts & Finance Reports To Regional Controller – South Location Bangalore,The Manager – Accounts will be responsible for Business Case Approvals (BCA), legal coordination, and MIS reporting for the region. The role ensures strong financial governance, accurate reporting, stakeholder coordination, and adherence to DHL/Blue Dart standards and policies. Job Purpose: To manage financial analysis, legal accounting, and management information systems (MIS) for the region by ensuring timely approvals, accurate reporting, effective coordination with stakeholders, and compliance with organizational and statutory requirements. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Business Case Approvals (BCA) • Ensure BCAs are prepared with clear business performance indicators, highlighting new project effects and benefits in line with predefined guidelines and standards. • Develop and present clear financial scenarios including cost–benefit analysis, risk assessment, and operational KPIs demonstrating project benefits. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to finalize BCA presentations in compliance with company policies and guidelines. BRO, South Travel Required • Act as a liaison between the Region and Head Office (HO) by providing required reports, clarifications, and managing expectations to secure timely BCA approvals. • Ensure one-time pager documents and BCA investment tools are submitted to DHL for approvals within defined timelines and as per DHL standards. Legal Coordination • Serve as the first point of contact for consumer complaints and ensure client notices are escalated to HO for further coordination. • Handle customer complaints efficiently to prevent escalations or potential legal proceedings against the organization. • Liaise with external advocates and coordinate with the internal Legal team for court proceedings, documentation, and legal processes. • Support the Legal team in drafting legal documents, gathering evidence, and understanding case specifics. • Ensure all case-related documents are properly filed, tracked, and maintained along with court order copies for reference. • Maintain and monitor penalty amounts accounted under legal accounts and ensure closure until cases are dismissed. MIS & Financial Reporting • Provide MIS reports post book closure, including variance analysis for Budget vs Actuals and cost–benefit analysis for the region. • Collect and analyze regional cost-saving initiatives and collaborate with internal stakeholders and functions to customize cost-saving reports. • Prepare and present various MIS reports and PowerPoint presentations for senior management review. • Generate regional sales reports including Budget vs Actual comparisons (current and previous years), YTD contribution, yield, and volume analysis at product level. Qualifications & Experience: Education • Essential: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) • Preferred: Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or large corporate environments Experience • 10-14 years of experience in Accounts, Finance, MIS, or Legal Finance coordination roles • Experience in business case preparation, financial analysis, and senior management reporting • Hands-on exposure to legal coordination and statutory compliance preferred Core Technical Skills • Strong financial analysis and MIS reporting capabilities • Expertise in BCA preparation, cost–benefit analysis, and variance analysis • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP preferred) • Understanding of legal accounting and documentation processes Behavioural Competencies • Stakeholder Management: Ability to coordinate across regions, HO, legal teams, and external advocates • Analytical Thinking: Strong attention to detail and financial interpretation • Communication Skills: Clear presentation of financial data and insights • Ownership & Accountability: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict timelines Key Performance Indicators: S.
