Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, structure, and standardize the company’s Chart of Accounts (COA) to reflect accurate operational units.
• Implement robust internal financial controls, approval matrixes, and SOPs for revenue, expenses, and asset management.
• Establish baseline accounting frameworks that support scaling, reporting accuracy, and auditing compliance.
• Manage end-to-end accounting routines using Zoho Books, ensuring accurate ledger postings and transaction coding.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll processing, petty cash, and inventory controls.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash inflows and outflows on a daily basis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts to optimize working capital management.
• Ensure full compliance with FTA rules, accurate computation, and timely filing of Value Added Tax (VAT) returns.
• Manage Corporate Tax requirements, compliance tracking, and timely return submissions per UAE legislation.
• Maintain audit-ready financial records and serve as the main liaison for external auditors to facilitate seamless annual audits.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly Management Information System (MIS) reports, P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets, highlighting cost-saving opportunities and risk areas for executive leadership.
• Support annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Zoho Books and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Deep understanding of UAE Tax Laws (VAT & Corporate Tax), FTA regulations, and local statutory requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, leadership capability, and ability to build processes from the ground up.
