Description

Support Financial Controller (India) • Responsible for Accounting, Taxation, Legal, and statutory compliance, Cash flow management, Legal and statutory compliances of all legal entities in India. Also drive and ensure timely and accurate annual budget exercise with cross functional teams. Overall responsibility for accounting and reporting • Responsible for accounting and tax compliance, development of accounting system and internal controls, ownership of R2R, review and finalization of accounts and statutory and tax audits for Indian entities. • Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual compliance on TDS, Income tax and TP matters, timely payment, filling quarterly/monthly/annual returns, including various reconciliations. Financial reporting to Regional Leadership • Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial results in Monthly Reporting Pack to Financial Controller and Hong Kong- Regional / Global leadership teams. • Provide India specific/customized MIS and adhoc reports to Financial Controller People Management Cross functional interaction to drive accounting ERP system, budget, Provide accounting training and development for team members. Update India leadership on Business performance and compliance status. Project Management Lead and contribute ERP implementation while working closely with implementation partners/teams in India. Coordinate IT projects to bring in efficiency in the finance function. Requirements Specific Business Knowledge & Skills Accounting Systems, processes and procedures followed in a large set up, knowledge of IND AS Ability to close statutory, tax audits and reporting to parent HQ Knowledge SAP, MS Office, Knowledge of advanced Excel, Business operations, Plant accounting, CAPEX budget preparation and developing monitoring systems Work Experiences:- 15+ years working experience in Accounting & Finance in which 5-7 years worked in supervisory role in a large organization, preferably MNC or global organizations

Responsibilities

Oversee accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance for all Indian legal entities while managing cash flow and annual budgets. Responsible for financial reporting to regional leadership and leading ERP implementation projects.
