INSEAD is seeking a Manager, Admissions to join our Degree Programmes Department. This is a full-time, temporary contract position (maternity cover) based at our Asia Campus in Singapore. A hybrid working model is in place – 3 days on campus, 2 days from home. About the job Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions, this role is pivotal in shaping the quality and diversity of INSEAD’s future student body. You will make autonomous pre-selection decisions for applicants to the Degree Programmes (DP), ensuring alignment with INSEAD’s admissions standards and strategic objectives. As the leader of the Global Executive MBA (GEMBA), Master in Management (MIM), and Master in Finance (MIF) pre-selection committees, you will oversee the admissions process, uphold deadlines, and maintain rigorous quality standards. Additionally, you will recruit, train, and manage alumni interviewers, ensuring a robust and fair interview process that reflects INSEAD’s values. Your role within the team Admissions Leadership: Make independent admissions decisions for GEMBA, MIM, and MIF programmes, applying sound judgment, fairness, and a deep understanding of the ideal INSEAD profile. Stay informed about market trends, recruiter expectations, and the skills required for student success. Strategic Diversity Management: Design strategies to ensure interview pools meet key diversity criteria, including nationality, gender balance, and overall quality for meaningful alumni interactions. Committee Oversight: Lead and organize pre-selection committees comprising managers, directors, and associate directors, driving consensus and timely decisions. Candidate Engagement: Provide constructive feedback to unsuccessful applicants and guide them toward successful reapplication when appropriate. Alumni Interviewer Network: Manage the pool of alumni interviewers, balancing capacity with demand. Innovate recruitment and assessment methods, deliver training, and provide performance feedback. Process & Quality Control: Supervise application flow across all stages, ensuring deadlines are met and high-potential candidates are fast-tracked. Maintain data accuracy to support downstream functions such as Programme Management, Career Development Centre, and Advancement. External File Reader Management: Oversee a team of external file readers, including budget planning, billing cycles, and performance monitoring, ensuring timely and high-quality evaluations. Scholarship Contribution: Identify strong profiles for merit and diversity scholarships, supporting INSEAD’s commitment to excellence and inclusion. The ideal candidate profile Education: Master’s degree in Admissions, Human Resources, Business, or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years in HR, admissions, recruitment, or coaching roles, with proven leadership and governance experience.
