Financial Services and Enterprise Data Division Permanent/continuing, full-time appointment Attractive remuneration package The Financial Services & Enterprise Data Division delivers strategic financial leadership and operational support to enable the University’s academic, research, and community objectives. Our division includes key units such as Institutional Research Accounting, Data and Analytics, Procurement, Operations and Research Accounting, Treasury, and Subsidiary and Customer Accounting. Together, we ensure financial sustainability, compliance, and efficient resource allocation across the institution. About the Role In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of AI and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency across the University. Working collaboratively with Finance, IT, and other key stakeholders, you will integrate innovative technologies that support the University’s financial objectives. You will also manage AI governance, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and facilitate training to staff on new tools and processes. About You The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) and be an experienced practitioner capable of working independently and leading others. You will have proven experience in planning and managing resources to achieve defined objectives, as well as strong analytical skills to collect and interpret data for informed decision-making. Your expertise will include developing change strategies based on gap analysis and readiness assessments, conducting business requirements analysis, and documenting current-state processes within a complex organisational context. Proficiency in application development and a solid understanding of AI, machine learning, and automation technologies—along with their practical application in business operations and process improvement—are essential.
