Job Title: AI & Automation Manager Primary Purpose: The AI & Automation Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and scaling intelligent automation and AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision quality, and employee productivity across the organization. The successful individual will require proficiency in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Generative AI, Agentic AI and Enterprise Analytics, combining hands-on technical execution with strong analytical thinking and governance awareness. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, IT, security, and data teams to identify automation opportunities, build production-ready solutions, and ensure all AI initiatives are deployed in a secure, governed, and ethically responsible manner. Strong hands-on experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Proven delivery experience using UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, attended/unattended bots) Experience in process discovery, documentation, exception handing, and bot performance optimization Practical experience with Generative AI assistants built on LLMs, such as:- Enterprise ChatGPT, Claude Enterprise, Microsoft CoPilot M365, Perplexity, or similar Designing prompt strategies, reusable templates, and user-facing AI workflows Applying GenAI to real business uses cases Exposure to building or integrating AI applications on cloud AI platform (preferred, not mandatory):- AWS Bedrock (model selection, orchestration, secure access) Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI (prompt flows, grounding, enterprise integration) Experience developing data, reporting, and business intelligence solutions, including:- Dashboard design and storytelling for executives and business users Tools such as Microsoft SSRS, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Snowflake and Tableau Understanding of data models, data quality, and performance considerations Hands-on experience with Agentic AI and autonomous workflows, such as:- Claude CoWork, Microsoft CoPilot Studio, UiPath Autopilot Designing task-oriented agents that plan, reason, and execute human-in-the-loop controls Experience in working within enterprise IT, shared services or digital transformation teams Experience in managing vendors project delivery & execution; change & issue management The accomplished individual will possess Technical & analytical skills Ability to translate business problems into automation and AI use cases Strong understanding of process logic, decision trees, and workflow orchestration Data literacy with the ability to interpret dashboards, KPIs and analytics outputs Experience integrating AI and automation with enterprise systems and data sources AI security, governance & guardrails Solid understanding of AI security fundamentals, including data privacy, data leakage risks, prompt injection, hallucinations and misuse scenarios Familiarity with AI governance frameworks including model access controls and entitlement management, auditability, logging, and monitoring AI interactions, responsible AI principles and ethical AI considerations Ability to design solutions that align with enterprise guardrails, risk controls, and compliance requirements Delivery & impact Successfully delivered automation or AI initiatives that improve productivity, reduced manual effort, enhanced reporting, insights or decision making Experience collaborating with business users, IT and security teams Ability to document solutions clearly for operational support and knowledge transfer An outstanding professional will have Strong analytical mindset with attention to details Curious, experimental, and continuously learning in a fast-evolving AI landscape Ability to balance innovation with stability and risk-management Comfortable explaining complex AI and automation concepts to non-technical stakeholders High degree of professionalism, accountability and ethical judgement Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, data science, engineering or related discipline (optional) Relevant certifications are an advantage such as UiPath certification, Microsoft Power Platform / CoPilot Studio, Cloud or AI-related certifications (Azure, AWS) Our Competencies for All Employees Courage: Doesn’t hold back anything that needs to be said; provides current, direct, complete, and “actionable” positive and corrective feedback to others; lets people know where they stand; faces up to people problems on any person or situation (not including direct reports) quickly and directly; is not afraid to take negative action when necessary.
