Your Opportunity:
The Patient Care Manager (NICU/Pediatrics), RDRHC Women & Children’s is a key leadership role in the patient care service and reports directly to the Director RDRHC/Zone Program Lead Women’s & Children’s & Children’s Rehabilitation Services. The Patient Care Manager is responsible for the NICU and Pediatric programs within the Women and Children’s team at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre (RDRHC). This position is responsible and accountable for providing the direction, leadership and organization over the activities of patient care services and administrative operations in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. These activities also will include the integration of various resources to carry out these activities. The position is also responsible and accountable for making key decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for establishing and contributing to the achievement of the goals of the patient care service. The Patient Care Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of an effective framework for the operations of the patient care service in order to facilitate the delivery of efficient, effective and safe patient care with the NICU and Pediatric Departments. The Manager will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to provide leadership to the patient care services.
