Your Role as Manager - Allied Health Business Operations This role is responsible for working across Allied Health and Mental Health Services in the delivery of the operational business plan for the services. You will work closely with the Manager – Allied Health Clinical Operations and would oversee the Allied Health Administration Team. In this role you will drive the introduction, business development and program management of a new Therapeutic Services fee for service stream and supporting the reflective practice fee for service offering. You will partner with service leaders to ensure systems, processes and mechanisms support effective service delivery in line with funding agreements and contracts. You will drive the growth of quality improvement activities to create a learning environment that drives a high-performance culture. You’ll deliver this role by: Lead the operation support and administration team to achieve overall quality and sustainability targets and service delivery activities across the services including finances, people, care services and capital. Take responsibility for the development, implementation and ongoing management of Therapeutic Services and Reflective Practice services teams. Exercise responsibility for funding contracts and agreements across Allied Health and Mental Health Services. Ensure a customer centric approach is followed in all decisions and continuously strive to improve services to both internal and external customers to meet and exceed customer expectations. This includes actively identifying continuous improvement opportunities and delivering and embedding change activities across your teams. Lead and optimise business operations to ensure they are effective, efficient and scalable, with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Review, recommend and implement best-practice approaches across communications, customer intake and service scheduling to enhance service delivery and client experience. Development and management allocated budget and monitor financial metrics to drive stewardship and financial sustainability. This includes ensuring corrective actions are implemented to manage budget variances, and service delivery is operating in line with budgetary targets. Work with the Manager – Allied Health Clinical Operations and service leaders to ensure that service delivery across Allied Health is aligned with funding contracts, client needs and billable hours. Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify, acquire and maintain new funding streams across the portfolio, and deliver projects ensuring that service delivery is supported by funding. Remain informed of industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities and implement solution-based approaches to determine pricing and promotional activities and ensure services meet the ongoing needs of the community. Develop, acquire and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships including with external brokers. Collaborate with other directorates within WMQ to ensure an integrated services model for our customers, including across Aged Care and Disability Services. Recruit, develop, lead and manage your teams to ensure a high-performance culture, ensuring performance contributes to strategic priorities and operational needs. Ensure your teams are motivated, engaged and working in a safe manner. Ensure service-level Key Performance Indicators for yourself and your teams are met. What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years’ experience in an allied health operations management position Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Business, Health Administration or other relevant field. In-depth knowledge of funding models, customer focussed care and efficient allied health model Leadership capability including influencing of key stakeholders – internal and external to assist business growth in key identified areas Demonstrated expertise in quality, risk management and continuous improvement processes. Demonstrated expertise in operational planning and execution, business intelligence and performance reporting framework, quality and risk management, project management and change management.
