Position Overview
Responsible for the overall implementation of the sales strategies and for the sales results of the Inside Sales Product Specialist – New Logo team. Manages team effort in direct led deals for new customers to Autodesk construction Cloud solutions. Plans and directs all sales activities including planning, managing forecasts, building pipeline, assisting in customer negotiations, executing on policies, as well as staffing and talent development of the sales force. Promote a team culture that embraces Autodesk’s values. Collaborate across organizations and engage appropriate internal resources from Autodesk. Establishes short and long-term goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives that generate new business and develops customer relationships. Execute strong business practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the activities of sales team, including hiring, coaching, developing talent, team culture and performance management
  • Responsible for leading team to focus on exceeding assigned quotas
  • Deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Generate new business while building strong customer relationships
  • Manage execution of strategic sales and marketing programs, including product launches, trade shows, channel development events, and customer forums. Will require collaboration with others not reporting to this job
  • Provide insight to internal organizations on market direction, customer needs, product requirements and business opportunities
  • Collaborate with other internal organizations and coordinate internal resources as needed
  • Ensure CRM tools and Autodesk methodologies are leveraged to process and track opportunities
  • Align team with corporate goals and use SMART goals to deliver results
  • Encourage innovation by exchanging new ideas to improve operational efficiency within sales and the supporting organizations
  • Work closely with Activation/Onboarding team to ensure new customers have a great experience partnering with Autodesk
  • Maintain close relationship with Marketing, Sales Operations, and Business Development to optimize conversion rates

Minimum Qualifications

  • Oversee direct outreach to new customers to develop opportunities and improve customer experience
  • Technical product knowledge and capability to demonstrate complex Autodesk Construction Cloud solutions
  • Familiarity with sales process and certain selling methodologies i.e. MEDDPICC or BANT
  • Familiarity with CRM applications (i.e., Salesforce)
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive at all times
  • Strong work ethic: Team oriented, self-starter, high energy, and results oriented

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $186,000 and $269,170. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
