This position is responsible for planning, managing and controlling the activities of a team of 5-6 analysts that provide business intelligence support for various business operations in the pharmacy division; The manager will lead projects for key pharmacy initiatives (i.e. Trend, rebates, benefits, UM, Specialty, 340B, Regulatory, etc.) by analyzing data from internal and external sources; bringing expertise or identifying subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations and plans; advising business by providing data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities; ensuring that policies and procedures align with corporate vision; selecting, developing and evaluating personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Business Statistics, Accounting or Finance OR 4 years experience.
  • 5 years experience interfacing with external clients, large employers, brokers, or consultants OR 5 years experience in presenting analytic results to both internal and external audiences.
  • 5 years experience in requiring data analysis and information reporting related to healthcare data.
  • 2 years leadership experience.
  • Negotiation, decision-making, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in the PBM industry.
  • Experience in a supervisory/management position.
  • Experience in cost containment consultation.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience utilizing Analytical/AI tools such as Python, R, Dataiku, SAS
