The Manager Arts and Culture will lead the Western Plains Cultural Centre and Cultural Development Team within the Community, Culture and Places division. The role focuses on delivering high quality services and strengthening our community engagement with arts and culture experiences. The position will also oversee the project management and operation of the, to be constructed, Wiradjuri Tourism Centre.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor Degree in Arts, Marketing, Business, or related discipline and/or experience commensurate to the qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial management and in the strategic management of a cultural facility.
• High level organisational skills with demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and engaging with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent skills in research and data analysis and the ability to undertake economic, business and financial analysis.
• Superior management and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive, cooperative and productive relationships with staff, the community and key stakeholders.
• Experience in developing commercial and/or government partnerships to deliver improved business performance or customer service outcomes
