Responsibilities
  1. Lead the coordination and delivery of specialised financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and compliance services
    relevant to NT Health’s asset portfolio in accordance with the Australian Accounting Standards, Treasurer’s Directions, and other
    statutory regulations and policies.
  2. Initiate and provide strategic advice on policy issues impacting on the efficiency and effectiveness of financial management and
    reporting strategies, obligations, and processes associated with assets and accounting systems.
  3. Undertake comprehensive review and analysis of financial and accounting data relevant to asset portfolio of NT Health.
  4. Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders in order to achieve the delivery of the strategic capital acquisition and replacement
    program for NT Health.
  5. Develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal staff, and other Government agencies in relation to financial
    reporting and compliance matters in relation to the asset portfolio.
  6. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in
    order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
  7. Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
