DEAN’S OFFICE, SCHOOL OF BUSINESS UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES SECTION Manager / Assistant Manager (25260336) The UG Studies Section administers one of the largest UG programmes at HKBU, offering 8 business concentrations to over 1,900 students. We are seeking a motivated and experienced administrator to lead a small team in delivering excellence and innovation across the student lifecycle. The appointee will collaborate closely with the Programme Director and the Associate Dean (UG Studies) in the following areas, including but not limited to: Provide administrative support for the development of UG programmes, including curriculum enhancement, student admission and recruitment, centralised academic exercises, marketing and publicity, and accreditation exercises; Oversee the planning and execution of all student-related activities and events; Provide secretarial services to committees, task forces and meetings; Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on programme outreach activities & student development activities opportunities; Supervise and guide junior team members to ensure daily operation tasks; and Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Applicants should have a recognised degree with at least six years of relevant work experience in tertiary institutions. Knowledge of and extensive experience in programme management are preferred. Candidates must possess high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Occasional weekend and evening duties will be required. Applicants with less experience may be considered for the rank of Assistant Manager. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
