Department: Office of the Dean of Engineering Job Posting Details The Undergraduate Affairs Administration Team of the School of Engineering oversees the full spectrum of functions in undergraduate education in the School, including student outreach, admission, administration of academic programs, quality assurance, student affairs and co-curricular programs, such as exchange programs and experiential learning initiatives. The team is now looking for a motivated seasoned individual to support undergraduate outreach and recruitment. The appointee should possess strong communication skills, a marketing mindset and the ability to follow through the entire event and recruitment cycle. The appointee will also be assigned to support other functions of the team or the School when needs arise. Applicants should have a recognized degree with at least 7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the academia, and well-versed with computer applications. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and proficiency in English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) are a must. Knowledge in undergraduate admission an added advantage but not required. The ideal candidate should be a good team player, outgoing, highly motivated and with a strong sense of responsibilities; good at multi-tasking; and able to work under pressure and independently. Working outside normal office hours and travelling outside Hong Kong occasionally is required. Applicants with less relevant experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Manager. (Duration: 2 years, renewable) Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
