Manager, Benefits and Wellbeing

The Manager of Benefits and Wellbeing develops and manages benefits and wellbeing programs that support the organization’s business objectives, drives engagement, discourages turnover and meets current legal requirements.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the benefits team in developing, implementing, communicating, and administering employee benefits programs, policies, and procedures, including multi-state in-house leaves of absence, and 401(k)/retirement plan.
- Administer wellbeing programs focused on employee health and mental wellbeing, as well as cost management for both team members and the company.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure an excellent employee experience.
- Manage annual recurrent Benefit Projects locally in North America such as Benefit Annual Enrollment projects, audit and reporting requirements, recommendations for program improvements, and compliance communication.
- Manage the design, administration, delivery and support of employee benefits programs and related procedures to ensure successful adoption and compliance with all applicable laws
- Develops impactful benefits-related HR Analytics, including ongoing reporting of dashboards and ad-hoc reports, and acting as SME to Finance department for cost assessments and forecasting of benefits program costs
- Proactively collaborate with People Operations and Business Partners in program delivery and other projects as assigned.; Maintain clear understanding of the integration with other HR and Finance workstreams (e.g. payroll, accounting, etc.) and the downstream impact of benefits-related decisions and process changes
- Evaluate existing programs and processes; make recommendations for enhancements or improvements in support of strategic initiatives or as triggered by changes to available environments, regulation, technology or business needs.
- Provide support for benefits program oversight for Ireland employees.
- Other related responsibilities, projects or initiatives as required.
What you’ll bring:
- Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related discipline.
- Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of corporate self funded benefits experience with comprehensive understanding of benefits and retirement practices, programs and plans.
- Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to benefits, multi-state leaves of absence, and 401(k)/retirement administration and audit.
- Vendor Management and program implementation experience.
- Ability to make administrative and procedural judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
- Demonstrated competence in one or more HR information systems, preferably ADP and/or Workday.
- Adept in Google Suite and Microsoft applications, including Google Sheets and/or Excel.
- Data-Driven Mindset/Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information in a way that is easy to understand by others outside the function.
- Strong problem solving skill set with a focus on continuous improvement and use of lean tools, scorecards and resources.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interface skillfully and professionally with senior leadership, HR, team members and vendors managing sensitive situations.
- Leadership Skills: Places a high priority on coaching and developing others with proven ability/aptitude for building a cohesive and high-performing team.
Travel Requirements: up to 10%
Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000
