We take pride in our ability to refurbish fountain soda, beer, coffee, and juice dispensing equipment to "like-new" standards. Job Description We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Refurbishing Department Manager to lead our team of technicians. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire refurbishment process, ensuring all equipment meets strict quality control standards, performance specifications, and safety regulations. You will be responsible for streamlining the repair process, managing inventory, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and safety. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor technicians in the disassembly, cleaning, sanitizing, repairing, and reassembly of dispensing equipment (fountain machines, bar guns, carbonators, etc.). Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards to ensure all refurbished equipment operates at peak performance. Operational Efficiency: Manage workflow, develop, and execute production schedules to meet customer demand and reduce turnaround time. Inventory & Parts Management: Oversee the inventory of spare parts, machines, and consumables, and manage vendor relationships. Technical Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical support for mechanical, electrical and refrigeration issues. Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA and health standards. Reporting: Track performance metrics, including repair time and quality metrics, and report to senior management. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a maintenance/refurbishment management role within the food, beverage, or industrial machinery industry. Strong technical knowledge of beverage dispensing systems, including mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems. Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate a technical team. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read equipment manuals and electrical schematics. Requirements High school diploma required; Technical Degree and / or field related Certifications are a plus. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
