Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our application engineering team. This role involves daily dialogue with the team, assigning and following up on tasks, strengthening collaboration, conducting employee reviews, and initiating training programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing engineering teams.
  • Mechanical engineering degree or similar, with a few years of relevant experience.
  • Profound knowledge of mechanics and technical applications.
  • Proficiency in English at a negotiating level, both spoken and written.
  • Experienced in using MS Office and familiar with ERP systems, preferably AXAPTA.
  • Knowledge of stage gate project models (experience with Wrike is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently, maintain a general overview, and adhere to time plans and specifications.
  • Team player with a structured approach to work.
  • Experience working in an ISO environment.
  • Strong safety mindset and behavior.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the engineering team to ensure timely, budget-compliant project completion according to customer requirements.
  • Participate in and ensure the timely development and design of brakes, technical support, including contact with customers and suppliers for project orders.
  • Collaborate with functional and operational managers (e.g., engineering, marketing, product management, sales) to keep the engineering team updated on new product developments and share customer feedback and competitor activity.
  • Provide technical support to Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Assist with team throughput and function as an Application Engineer.
  • Perform projects, tasks, and time registration of assignments in Wrike.
  • Maintain workspace tidiness according to 6S standards.
