Job Description Covista is searching for a Manager of Brand & Design to help create, implement and build upon our corporate brand identity. This is not a short order cook for graphic needs; this role is strategic and conceptual and will be responsible for maintaining a high level of craft across all mediums in partnership with a Senior Manager of Brand & Creative, Video Production and Social Creative teams. They should have a strong grasp of storytelling and understand what makes a compelling story from both a narrative and a production standpoint. Helps craft, steward, and elevate Covista’s visual story across all channels. Applies brand identity systems, typography, photography, color and other ingredients appropriately to create innovative visual solutions that meet business and user needs Can quickly conceptualize and produce design projects of all varieties and aesthetics. Provides quality assurance of all creative deliverables including strict adherence to Covista brand standards. Coordinates with sr manager to manage workload and timing, and adhere to project deadlines and production schedules. Ensures materials are delivered on time and on brand – with the utmost accuracy. Participates in team status meetings and creative strategy meetings. Can manage multiple creative accounts/ stakeholders. Complies with all policies and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and/or experience in art direction, graphic design, marketing/advertising, journalism or related field required. Three (3) plus years of relevant experience in an agency, marketing or corporate environment required, Five (5) years preferred. Experience in all phases of production from simple 1- and 2-color spot design through complex full-color projects required. On-set experience in a photo/video shoot environment and sufficient comfort level directing required. Macintosh Environment / Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects experience required. Figma experience required. Detailed photo retouching experience (Photoshop, Lightroom) required. Microsoft presentations and template building (Powerpoint, Word) required. After Effects and motion graphic experience preferred. Canva experience preferred. Firm grasp of layout composition, color theory and typography. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfort in a production environment, with a comprehensive understanding of how videos are art directed. Familiarity of file compression, file correction, and optimization techniques. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail with ability to convey ideas clearly. Ability to work quickly and function effectively as a team member. Knowledge of the latest software and production techniques, as well as proven management capabilities and a solid portfolio. Additional Information In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61,720.78 and $108,334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility. Responsibilities
