JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a highly motivated multi-skilled Manager to help manage our Foundation. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in customer service, book-keeping, and office administration. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is essential as well as the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Drivers Abstract
  • Clean Police Record + Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Willing to complete Safe Food Handling training course.
  • Bookkeeping experience

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks including bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budgeting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Act as liaison between the Board of Directors and the Food Bank.
  • Ensure the Board receives accurate and relevant organizational information on a regular basis by attending all Board meetings and providing a monthly report.
  • Assist in policy development, strategic planning, and Board decision making.
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of the Broods Food Bank.
  • Oversee volunteer recruitment and planning of volunteer appreciation.
  • Ensure that the Food Bank follows all standards, as required by regulatory bodies, including food and safety regulations.
  • Develop funding proposals, identify future funders, apply for eligible funding and complete required reporting for restricted funds.
  • Develop and implement fund and food raising activities.
  • Serve as main point of contact with the public, media, donors, regulatory bodies, and partner organizations.
  • Ensure all invoices are paid on time and maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
