Description:

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years pertinent sales or business development work experience
  • Experience working in the CPG or other professional service industries (i.e. advertising, consulting, accounting, law)
  • Excellent research, writing and verbal communication skills
  • Project management, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data and translate results into continuous improvement
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Ability to work well in fast paced environment with multiple projects
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint & Excel and experience using CRM systems
  • Eager to grow the organization
  • Ability to mentor and lead a diverse team
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
  • A creative mind with problem solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor sales associates in Australia and New Zealand, to ensure strategic and financial goals are met
  • Work with senior team members, including the Head of Business Development, Australia and New Zealand and Global Chief of Sales to assist in scheduling, meetings, and business development activities
  • Build, maintain, and effectively manage a healthy sales pipeline, from outreach, prospecting, qualification of leads, pitching, contracting, and more to drive deals to close
  • Research and evaluate potential new partners in the CPG world
  • Develop client specific presentations and pitches
  • Secure new business development partnerships
  • Manage company and client expectations
  • Work with new partners on pricing and finalization of contracts
  • Motivate team members to exceed expectations
  • Represent TerraCycle Brand Partnerships team at conferences and/or events, if needed
  • Other tasks to support the team in driving growth, as needed
