LendCare is seeking to hire a Manager for our Business Initiatives team, which oversees the full lifecycle of our Business Initiatives team, and our strategic projects—from requirement gathering to development, QA, including project management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP and/or CSM are an asset.
- Work experience: 5 years experience in a related role such as project management, business analysis, systems analysis, or IT consulting.
- Methodology: understanding of methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Full-time availability with the ability to work in our head office in Pickering, ON

Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collecting and documenting detailed business requirements from stakeholders to ensure that IT solutions meet business needs.
- System Analysis: Analyzing existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensuring that proposed solutions are feasible and align with organizational goals.
- Solution Design: Collaborating with technical teams to design and develop systems solutions, including creating specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts to communicate system functionality.
- Prioritization: Assist in refining project intake processes, along with constantly monitoring our prioritization models to validate we are actioning the most desirable tasks.
- Testing and Validation: Developing and executing test plans to validate that the system meets business requirements and performing user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution functions as expected.
- Stakeholder Communication: Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and providing regular updates on project progress and system performance.
- Leadership: Lead and manage a high output team, cultivating a collaborative team environment.
