About the role
The Manager, Business Optimisation plays a pivotal role in enabling Tennis Queensland to effectively deliver its strategic and operational priorities. Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Services and working closely with the CEO, this role supports the leadership team through expert coordination of strategic initiatives, operational delivery, governance processes, and cross-functional projects.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives aligned to the Tennis Queensland Strategy.
  • Partner with the CEO and General Manager of Corporate Services to track progress on strategic priorities and support reporting and course correction as needed.
  • Identify and lead business process improvements that increase efficiency, scalability and service delivery outcomes.
  • Act as the central coordination point for key cross-organisational projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage the reporting requirements of the departments key focus areas including, but not limited to, risk management reporting, board and committee reporting.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Previous experience in Government reporting and acquittals
  • Experience using Power BI and Airtable (preferred)
  • Proficient in using the full Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Advanced administration skills with strong attention to detail
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis QLD
