Job Overview The Manager, Business Planning leads business planning, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX management to support informed decision‑making for the OTSM Project. The role provides strategic insights on business performance, collaborates with cross‑functional teams, and ensures compliance with corporate governance and financial controls. Job Description Lead business planning, strategic analysis, and feasibility studies. Evaluate business performance and market trends, providing recommendations to senior management. Oversee management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX governance. Advise management on cost optimization, resource allocation, and financial planning. Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and approval limits. Collaborate across functions to support corporate initiatives. Coach and guide team members as required. Work Location: Samalaju Plant (OTSM Sdn Bhd) Job Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline. 6–10 years’ relevant experience in business planning, corporate finance, or similar roles; experience in manufacturing or heavy industry preferred, with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial roles. Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting skills; proven ability to prepare and present executive‑level materials. Experience managing CAPEX governance and capital project evaluations. Proven leadership experience, with ability to coach and develop team members and to work collaboratively across functions. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; experience with ERP and planning systems is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence stakeholders and present complex information clearly. Committed to ethical conduct, safety, and continuous improvement.
