    The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Manager, Business Support Services to provide a critical role at Loddon Prisons Precinct.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Prison Services Manager, the Manager, Business Support Services is responsible for leading and managing a team in the effective delivery of and provide advice on a range of business support functions in alignment with policy and procedures to support services for the Loddon Prisons Precinct. This position will also monitor and report on business services including but not limited to fiscal status, monitoring and analysis of various business functions, reporting, and with a key focus on innovation and collaboration of the processes across three key business teams within the location.
This position may require direct prisoner contact and may involve weekend and public holiday work, remunerated in accordance with the applicable provision of the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement.
The Manager, Business Support Services role models the highest standards of workplace conduct and drives a culturally safe, integrity oriented and respectful workplace.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Supervise, manage, and provide leadership and mentoring to a team of staff, working across multiple locations with varied roles and responsibilities.
  • Undertake and lead high service delivery standards and timelines, across the precinct in alignment with specified outcomes, stakeholder expectations and location needs.
  • Plan and prioritise the team’s workload and support their ongoing training and development.
