The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated and well-organized, with experience in project management and knowledge of inventory software. The Manager will be supervising the daily activities of a group of workers and training others to improve efficiency. We’re looking for managers who can work well with a variety of personalities and are quick to offer guidance when needed. Our managers are responsible for tracking daily inventory levels as well as completing routine maintenance.
As a member of the store’s management team, the Manager contributes to success by communicating the business objectives of the Associate Dealer and ensuring that the department team consistently meets performance expectations in terms of customer experience, sales growth, retail execution, profitability and health and safety. Retail and housewares experience are essential in this exciting and challenging position.

Responsibilities

· Ensure customer service excellence, maintain a safe and health work environment and provide employee support through effective training, supervision, coaching and performance management
· Ensure quality of store presentation
· Establish department sales objectives and budget staff hours according to store management goals and customer service needs.
· Supervise daily departmental operations so as to meet established presentation and productivity goals
· Plan and schedule staff hours according to store needs and the budget
· Identify and implement departmental/store efficiencies
· Assist in the selection and orientation of new hires
· Communicate and ensure compliance with corporate, store and department policies
· Complete other tasks as required for the efficient operation of the store
