The successful candidate will also be responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of Cost Benchmarking Dashboards (utilizing AI) which deliver actionable insights for project planning, cost benchmarking, and executive reporting. This role will focus on extracting, analyzing, and presenting cost metrics—such as dollars per square foot—based on user-defined parameters and work breakdown structures (WBS). Job Description: This role is responsible for transforming historical capital project cost data—organized by Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)—into actionable insights using AI data mining techniques and advanced analytics. The primary objective is to support network facility planning and estimating by delivering dynamic cost metrics (e.g., cost per square foot, installation factors vs equipment cost, indirect percentages) tailored to user queries. Key Responsibilities: Data Mining & Structuring: Design, build, and maintain a robust capital project cost database aligned with corporate standards and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). Gather and organize historical capital project cost data segmented by WBS. Clean, normalize, and structure data for analysis using AI tools. Ensure data is enriched with relevant metadata (e.g., facility type, room classification, benchmark category). AI-Driven Analysis: Apply machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) to extract patterns, trends, and anomalies from cost data. Develop models to benchmark costs across facility types (e.g., API, fill-finish, QC labs) and scope categories. Metric Development & Reporting: Develop cost metrics (e.g., cost per square foot, installation factors, indirect percentages) for benchmarking and forecasting based on user queries. Build interactive dashboards and visual tools for internal stakeholders using AI tools. User Interaction & Customization: Collaborate with Global Services and Solutions to understand data needs. Translate ad hoc user requests into tailored cost analyses and reports using AI tools. Create dynamic visualizations for KPIs, portfolio performance, and cost benchmarks. Enable self-service capabilities for project teams to access cost benchmarks and trends. Tool & System Integration: Integrate AI tools with existing project management and cost estimating platforms. Automate data ingestion and metric updates to ensure real-time relevance.
