The China Affairs Office is dedicated to help the university foster mutually win-win relations with China partners through diverse collaboration activities.
We are looking for a high calibre candidate to join the China Affairs Office to help the university optimise its major collaboration and key events in China in an effective way. This role will require interaction with key stakeholders internally and collaborate with partners externally.
This role will be reporting to Director, China Affairs Office, and will be based in Singapore.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead several collaboration projects with China university partners following NTU’s China strategy.
  • Lead the preparation of visit programs from China collaborators to NTU and identify collaboration opportunities through visits.
  • Prepare university level MOU / MOA with collaborators, or necessary internal documents such as financial analysis etc under China collaboration projects.
  • As a focal point, manage operations related interactions with NVC including payment instructions and board meeting related preparation.
  • Support China Initiatives Steering Committee in meetings and approvals of projects.

Qualifications:

  • University degree, minimally 8 years+ working experience, preferably in areas of project management, business administration, business planning, commercial, etc.
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin, verbally and written, as translation would be required for project management purposes.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively as a responsible and cooperative team player.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to get buy-in from targeted audience both internally and externally.
  • Excellent organising skills.
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Result oriented, self-motivated, positive thinking and adaptable to changes.
  • Experience in dealing with Chinese organizations is preferred.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
