Juan Valdez is looking for its next Assistant Manager! In this role, you’ll lead and uphold our operational standards, following company processes and procedures, while driving sales opportunities and ensuring goals are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Prepare or serve hot or cold drinks.
  • Clean a sanitize store area.
  • Describe menu items to costumers o suggest products.
  • Offer and sell promotions.
  • Defrost or reheat and serve food.
  • Receive and process costumer payments.
  • Receive or stock supplies or retail products.
  • Open and close the register and cashflow.
  • Able to lead and supervise the shift.
  • Order supplies follow up with vendors.
  • Report maintenance or product needs.
  • Control and manage inventory.
  • Schedule.
  • Monthly Reports
  • Lead the team during the shift.
  • Upload invoices.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a coffee shop or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of administrative duties.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
