MANAGER -CIVIL ENGINEER WITH CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE

  • Lead and supervise project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and other technical staff.
  • Ensure effective workforce management, assigning roles and responsibilities efficiently.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks and site operations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of the technical team and provide training for skill development.
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and legal documentation related to the projects.
  • Address any issues that arise during construction, finding practical solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping and documentation for audits and compliance.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering projects within deadlines and budgets.
  • Develop strategies to optimize project efficiency, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Conduct regular project reviews to monitor progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective measures.
  • Handle negotiations and resolve project-related conflicts.
  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Oversee and manage all phases of construction and maintenance projects, from planning and design to execution and completion.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, proposals, and documentation for regulatory approvals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the team and on job sites.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and updates to management
  • Problem Solving: address any issues that arise during construction, finding effective solutions to keep projects on track.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Over 8 years of professional experience in the construction and maintenance industry, demonstrating capabilities to manage operations effectively.
  • Minimum 5years of managerial level expertise in the UAE in the construction and maintenance industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, maintenance, materials, and legal regulations.
  • MEP Knowledge
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Preferably with SOE license
  • Valid UAE driving license
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE
