Responsibilities

Effectively manages all operational aspects of the assigned clinic(s). Works closely with staff and providers to ensure that all fiduciary and clinic goals are met. Proactively determines workload priorities through planning, coordination and managing staff and providers to meet the administrative, operational and support requirements. Engages staff and promotes a positive culture that prioritizes humankindness and patient-centric care consistent with Dignity Health’s mission, vision, and values.

  • Participates in work groups, teams, task forces and committees to support ongoing improvement in clinicoperations. Provides value-added and productive input and expertise to drive continual improvement, supportstandardization and streamlining and to resolve ongoing patient care issues.
  • Supports the established processes and systems to enhance customer service. Provides coaching to staff toenhance customer service skills and ensure patients and internal employees and providers receive excellentcustomer service. Ensures a safe environment for patients, staff, providers and visitors, and operates clinic incompliance with all legal, regulatory and Dignity Health requirements impacting areas of responsibilities.
  • Assists in determining the workload priorities to enable timely completion of tasks. Supports the ongoingtechnical and professional training and development of staff to enhance clinic and individual performance andstaff career growth. Monitors work performance of staff and providers and supports necessary training andcoaching.
  • Assists in managing the revenue cycle. With adequate management of template (i.e., provider schedules),balances number of visits/services with operational revenue requirements. Supports the management of supplycosts, tracks inventory usage, using purchasing information management systems, including maintaining staffinglevels that adhere to labor standards and effectively controlling staff premium pay.
