POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager of Clinical Trial Billing is responsible for post-award Sponsored Project management with a focus on clinical trial financial operations. The position is part of the Sponsored Projects Accounting office within Accounting Services, serving in a central administrative office.
The incumbent will oversee financial and administrative matters related to clinical trials, including day-to-day accounting functions, invoicing, reconciliations, project analysis, reporting, and project closure. This role ensures compliance with Clinical Trial Agreements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and applicable federal, institutional, and sponsor regulations.
The Manager will collaborate closely with the Clinical Trials Office (CTO), Principal Investigators, and clinical trial administrators to ensure accuracy, accountability, and efficiency across assigned projects. The incumbent has the opportunity to make an impact on clinical research by ensuring financial integrity and compliance in clinical trial management.
