Job Description: Manager - Business Operations JLL Property Development Services (PDS) - Mumbai Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manager - Business Operations to join our Property Development Services team in Mumbai. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong project coordination, financial operations, and vendor management expertise to support large-scale real estate development projects. Key Responsibilities: Financial Operations & Documentation: • Manage end-to-end financial documentation and processing for development projects • Review, verify, and process vendor and client invoices in accordance with contract terms • Handle invoice reconciliation, payment tracking, and receivables management • Prepare monthly financial trackers including revenue forecasting and payment schedules • Maintain accurate cashflow management and budget tracking for assigned projects Vendor & Stakeholder Management: • Oversee vendor engagement, registration, and onboarding processes across the West region • Act as primary coordination point for payments, receivables, and financial queries • Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations • Facilitate smooth communication between internal teams, clients, and external partners Project Support & Reporting: • Track project progress through Work Progress Reports (WPR) and management dashboards • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management reviews • Support compliance processes and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements • Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless project delivery • Maintain Workday entries and ensure up-to-date project information systems Required Qualifications: Experience: • 8-10 years of experience in project operations, financial operations, or business development • Proven track record in vendor management and client coordination • Experience with large-scale projects and cross-functional team collaboration • Background in real estate, construction, or related industry preferred Technical Skills: • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Experience with ERP systems (Tally ERP 9, Workday) • Strong analytical and financial documentation skills • Excellent English and regional language communication abilities Core Competencies: • Strong ownership mindset and accountability for results • Detail-oriented with exceptional deadline management capabilities • Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship management skills • Process-driven approach with focus on accuracy and quality • Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives Education: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Banking, Insurance, or related field • Additional certifications in project management or financial operations preferred What We Offer: • Opportunity to work with India's leading real estate services firm • Exposure to large-scale property development projects • Professional growth within JLL's dynamic PDS division • Collaborative work environment with industry experts Location: Mumbai (West Region focus) This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values precision in financial operations, and is committed to supporting successful project delivery through meticulous coordination and process excellence.
