POSITION SUMMARY:

As Manager, Communications, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy that helps IT & Digital Americas (AMS) bring its mission to life and showcase its unique role in driving marketplace success to create a competitive edge. A key priority is to enhance the reputation of the organization as a business innovator and thought leader. You will contribute to building a cohesive and high-performing culture where employees feel inspired, empowered, and valued, and where they can thrive in their careers. The Communications Manager will work to develop and deliver impactful, strategic communications to key stakeholder groups with the goal to inform, inspire, and engage the organization behind the power of technology as the “first solve.” You will collaborate with IT & Digital AMS colleagues and other business and communications partners to ensure your strategies and deliverables align with the priorities of the IT & Digital AMS organization, AMS business and global IT teams, and Nestlé.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive IT & Digital AMS communication strategy that advances the organization’s mission and goals, supports zone and global IT initiatives, strengthens the organization’s reputation within Nestlé, and fosters a cohesive and high-performing culture.
  • Drive the adoption of major technology initiatives by creating engaging content to inform broad audiences about innovative solutions and the changes needed to realize benefits for employees and Nestlé.
  • Leverage key communication channels include town hall meetings, emails, executive speaking points, video messages, newsletters, internal social media posts, and external candidate communications for different comms use cases.
  • Ensure that leader communications are effectively tailored to the objectives and key target audiences to advance the IT & Digital AMS vision and business goals.
  • Ensure that the organization’s brand reflects our future-focused mission, powerful role within Nestlé and values, and is consistently communicated in all messaging.
  • Support the IT& Digital leadership team with stakeholder management and engagement planning communications to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other key Nestlé business and communication partners at various levels to ensure informed, aligned, and consistent messages and execution strategies.
  • Collaborate with the global IT communications team to influence the creation of global messages and support the global team in cascading messages and events.
  • Measure the effectiveness of our communication efforts and use data to inform future strategies and tactics.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in communications, public relations or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with multimedia storytelling and digital communication, as well as meeting execution technology, and large-audience communication channels (such as: Populo, Viva Engage, etc.)
  • 2+ year of experience leading a digital or technical communication strategy from ideation to execution
