Job Title: Community Integration Manager Department: Adult Day Services Reports To: Area Manager, Adult Day Services Supervises: Community Coordinators, Direct Care Staff, Floaters Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt Pay Grade G-6 Driver Status: Authorized (DOT Certified) About the Role Are you passionate about helping people with developmental disabilities live more connected, fulfilling lives? As the Community Integration Manager, you'll lead a team dedicated to supporting individuals in building independence, discovering their strengths, and becoming active members of their communities. You’ll guide staff, oversee services, and create opportunities for participants to thrive — all while making sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and with heart. What You’ll Do Lead and Support Staff: Hire, train, coach, and guide your team to deliver person-centered, high-quality services. Build Community Connections: Help staff develop partnerships with local organizations for volunteer work, social outings, and skill-building. Ensure High-Quality Services: Monitor programs to make sure they are safe, inclusive, and designed around individual goals. Train for Success: Provide ongoing training so your team meets goals around community integration, employment, and informed choice. Coordinate Transportation: Make sure participants get where they need to go safely and with minimal restrictions. Keep Communication Flowing: Work closely with families, providers, and service teams to ensure everyone is informed and involved. Handle the Unexpected: Step in when needed to help with coverage, transport individuals, or support participants and staff. Manage Finances: Oversee participant funds and activity budgets to ensure accurate and responsible spending. What You’ll Bring Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (IDD/DD experience preferred) Supervisory or leadership experience Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to developmental disability services Good problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm and think clearly under pressure. Ability to lead through change and stay flexible Ability to pass a DOT physical (or doctor’s clearance) for transportation duties. Certifications required for this position, which must be kept up to date. Work Environment You'll work both in the community and on-site — sometimes in busy or unpredictable settings like animal shelters or volunteer centers. Expect moderate noise levels, variable weather, and occasional lifting or physical support. Physical Requirements Must be comfortable walking, standing, bending, and occasionally lifting (up to 100 lbs. with help) Assist with mobility, hygiene, or crisis support when needed Use a computer regularly for documentation and planning
