About the role As a Manager Compensation, you will oversee and manage Compensation and Benefits programs and activities (C&B) for the QR Group for the assigned area of responsibility. You will also manage the implementation and delivery of C&B programs, develop and maintain relevant communication and policy materials, and proactively monitor market trends, this shall also include Supervising and developing a team of C&B experts. Responsibilities Contribute to the QR Group C&B strategy and translate the strategy into annual C&B operational plans for the assigned area of responsibility, to ensure QR Group remains competitive and relevant. Identify market trends and changes in employment practices and legislation to ensure that the QR Group C&B programs remain competitive, compliant, cost effective and assist with employee retention and talent attraction. Manage the implementation and delivery of C&B programs, including pay reviews, in line with HR policies while continuously improving C&B processes. Provide advice to HR colleagues and Line Managers on C&B matters, in line with the HR strategy and aimed at supporting data-driven decision-making through the development of analytics and dashboards. Oversee external C&B benchmarking, which includes collecting and analysing market data as well as partnering with consulting firms and industry groups to accurately assess QR Group's total remuneration package (compensation and benefits) against defined market comparators. Drive C&B projects to enable QR Group's business strategies, which include supporting works council and union negotiations in international markets. Consult with internal HR business partners, department heads and management to assess compensation, benefits and compliance needs. Monitor the effectiveness of existing C&B processes and guidelines, and recommend adjustments as appropriate. Ensure HR policies related to C&B programs are relevant, clear and accurate. Educate HR colleagues on C&B processes and professional practices within those areas. Actively participate in industry group APDC (Airline Personnel Directorate Conference) to stay abreast of industry trends and practices. Keep abreast of market trends and legislative updates.
