Responsibilities
  • Support the oversight of ISM compliance and flag state regulations across the fleet
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with statutory and external institutions (e.g. ITCG, Flag Administration, CLIA, IMO, RINA)
  • Proactively engage with local stakeholders in strategic regions to ensure rapid and effective communication, especially during emergencies
  • Assist internal departments with administrative follow-up on dispensations, authorizations, and certifications
  • Support the Head of ISM & Flag Relations in execution and follow up of the internal and external ISM Audits (RINA, ITCG - Italian Administration, RAAS - Internal Audit Group, authority), review audits/inspections reports, and verify that the results are correct and in line with the procedures, in conjunction with the relevant department
  • Conduct ship visits to assess compliance and support audits, particularly related to MLC and ISM standards
  • Review audit and inspection reports for accuracy and procedural alignment in collaboration with relevant departments
