Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as a Compliance Monitoring Manager - Operations to be based in Doha, Qatar. As a Compliance Monitoring Manager - Operations you will be responsible for managing and conducting day-to-day activities within the compliance monitoring - operations program inclusive of operational safety audits within the Company, as well as, audits on external agencies that are subcontracted to Qatar Airways. The role requires collaboration with the manager of compliance monitoring - operations and other stakeholders within the regulated environment of the compliance monitoring system. In addition, the role is required to communicate across the various QR leadership structures in addition to senior management representatives from external agencies. Responsibilities for the role include: • Manage the auditing function for operational departments to include; audit planning, audit conduct, evaluating root causes and corrective actions, as well as, audit report writing amongst other audit-related activities. • Conduct opening and closing meetings with QR nominated persons and senior management personnel for internal audits and QR subcontracted companies in the case of external audits. • Communicate clearly and unambiguously with senior management internally, as well as externally, audit results and provide guidance to auditees for the development of root causes and implementation of corrective and/or preventative action. • Collate compliance monitoring statistics and provide monthly and quarterly audit summaries inclusive of overdue non-conformities. Furthermore, the role is expected to participate in assigned safety/security action groups and present the collated information. • Coordination of external findings that are issued by external regulatory authorities (Civil Aviation Authorities – EASA Ramp Inspections and QCAA). This is inclusive of liaising with the relevant Qatar Airways departmental managers to ensure the adequate identification of root causes alongside the development and implementation of corrective actions as appropriate in operational areas. About You • Minimum of 7 years of operational airline experience in an operational discipline such as Cabin Crew, Ground Operations, Flight Operations inclusive of Piloting experience, Engineering, Flight Dispatch, Flight Safety or Quality Assurance (Compliance Monitoring);, • Good writing skills inclusive of audit reports and standard business communication; • Airline operational knowledge and experience in operational manuals and documentation; • Knowledge of civil aviation regulations and the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA); • Working understanding of quality assurance principles; • Ability to work in a team; • Aviation / Airline experience • Experience as an IOSA, ISAGO, or DAQCP Auditor within the air transport industry. • An airline lead quality auditor carrying out independent audits. • Worked in a similar role, or assisted in the preparation of IOSA / internal audits.
