As a Construction & Engineering Manager, you’ll play a key role in the construction of one of the largest fiber networks in the world! You’ll supervise daily construction activities that involve the placing, splicing, rearrangement and removal of Outside Plant facilities.
You may also work with installation and the repair of Loop electronics. You’ll ensure that work processes, schedules, standards and master plans are adhered to. In addition to your own expertise, you’ll also have technical and administrative support from outside technical employees for construction as well as placing and splicing in rural and metro areas. You’ll also supervise a group of outside plant engineers and/or construction engineers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have satisfactory driving record and a valid driver’s license
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Knowledge of outside plant construction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Work experience in the construction industry
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T’s compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function.
- This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Our Manager-Construction & Engineering earn between $77,100 - $115,700. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
