Consulting Services provides a systematic approach to defining and executing patient-centered initiatives and projects and builds the capacity of LAMC staff to improve care through design and innovation, project management, improvement science, and data analytics. We work collaboratively with the Los Angeles Medical Center SCPMG leaders on strategic and operational initiatives in line with local and regional priorities and expanding business needs. The Manager will lead and support a team of project managers and the department’s portfolio and will also lead their own highly complex projects. All team members use and analyze data for optimal implementation of projects by aligning objectives, designing work plans, and effectively owning the effort towards successful deliverables and outcomes. In addition, the role will support internal and external communications, ensuring our accomplishments, metrics, and milestones are clearly documented and shared. Serves as expert strategic partner to senior management and navigates the leadership landscape with political sensitivity to build and establish strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
JOB SUMMARY:
Manages a team of consultants to ensure the alignment, buy-in, and coordination of diverse stakeholders to drive the implementation of successful business initiatives and projects. Managers the development and implementation of business initiatives, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state. Develops business strategy and ensures alignment and prioritization of organizational objectives and business initiatives. Manages complex projects or project components for teams, manages change management plans, and manages team members in performing complex data analyses to drive business initiatives. Participates in vendor management as required. Monitors compliance of work activities by ensuring business plans and team members adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
